HowellDevine-American Blues trio formed in 2011 and based in San Francisco. They released four album: Delta grooves, Jump, Boogie & reeling, a modern sound to Ancient Juju and a howl. Both jump, Boogie & wobbles modern sounding of Ancient Juju, was released on Arhoolie records. Jump, Boogie & wobbles Arhoolie for the first time decided to release a Blues album in nearly three decades. After the Smithsonian mores records the acquired directory Arhoolies in 2016, the label stopped issuing new records and seeks to push the boundaries of their sound, the band signed with a small label village in 2017 and released a howl, recorded at Greaseland childhood Andersens. The group consists of Joshua Howell on vocals, harmonica and guitar, and Pete devine on drums and percussion, and Joe Kyle Jr. on bass. Their music is mainly rooted in Blues and hill country Blues of Mississippi. Each album is a combination of original songs, traditional Blues songs as well as covers of songs or popularized in the early Blues artists, although usually not the most familiar works of these artists.
